Superpower Dogs star visits Cincinnati Museum Center for film opening

Helicopter arrival and meet and greets with Henry November 23

CINCINNATI – Shake a leg (but don’t lift it) for your chance to meet four-legged film star Henry at Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC). The brown and white Border Collie is one of the stars of CMC’s newest OMNIMAX® film Superpower Dogs, a film that showcases incredible dogs doing the im-paw-ssible. Guests can meet Henry when he arrives to CMC by helicopter Saturday, November 23.

Henry, Superpower DogsSuperpower Dogs is a tail-wagging journey around the globe alongside remarkable canines whose sense of smell, enhanced hearing, innate prey skills and incredible courage make them true superheroes. Chris Evans narrates the film and introduces us to a Newfoundland working with the Italian School of Water Rescue Dogs, a Dutch Shepherd training in disaster response across the United States, a Golden Retriever surfing alongside humans with physical and emotional disabilities and a pair of Bloodhounds protecting endangered species by land and air in Kenya.

Henry joins the team in the mountains of British Columbia, working avalanche search and rescue. The goggled-good boy uses his prey instinct to sniff out survivors buried in snow, traversing the mountains by paw, by snowmobile, on his human companion’s back – and by longlining from a helicopter. CMC is putting Henry’s aerial abilities to good use for his arrival. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department will deliver Henry to Union Terminal November 23, opening day for Superpower Dogs.

Guests are invited to join CMC to meet Henry and maybe even get a pawtograph during his visit. A brief schedule is below.
